Hi Buffalo Man! Welcome! Don't listen to Vinegaroon, sometimes he wakes up on the wrong side of his skis LOL

I Love to eat Buffalo meat and beefalo too. Very good for you. Less fats and high protein energy. And I'm sure you know raising them, there are Herds just for those purposes these days too. Not only herds to save the breed.
I've eaten it since I was a kid off and on.

Have you been back to NM recently?

Well I like to eat buffalo on occasion too. I just don't think there will be much left of them if you raze them.

Raise = Bring up a young buffalo to maturity

Raze = Demolish, as in raze a building.

Yeah ok, I know razed as per buildings etc, but have not heard ANY thing about this issue. I suppose if I put raze {kill off?} buffalo and Oklahoma in google it might come up. I'll look.
Heck {have to be lady like here with my language } I've been involved somewhat with helping remove a herd from a guy whose herd had "a Wasting type disease" {scary words}, called and talked with specialists at the Buf center, all the way up in Montana for it too! Besides notifying the Center about the 'news' suspicions.

Eventually the state removed and destroyed them, but they were mistreated to get that way, to begin with! Grrrrrrrrrrr
I'm not feelin' happy here

Thanks {I think} Vinegaroon for this heads up

I like buffalo, very lean and high in protein. Tasty too. Not as good as raw fish, such as poki ahi...or even swordfish or mahimahi...but damn good nonetheless! I like all my meat as close to raw as possible; rare and bleeding best of all.

Smile Har, har!

Towanda: Exactly my reaction!

Yes, I like buffalo a great deal too, although I haven't had it much. In my limited experience, it seems better chopped (as in a "buffalo burger" I had in Red River: yummy!) than as a steak. I suppose it depends on the particular meal, though.

Next time it might be ya'll, with the toilet paper stuck to your shoe, uh huh LOL

Just remember, the mere mention of animal abuse, gets my hackles up!
