Springer/Wagon Mound Area ***PLEASE HELP***
[SIZE=3]I know we all live all over the country... Any one in New Mexico in this area PLEASE keep your eyes out for Ginger♥ or if you have family or friends in this area please pass this on...
Lost on 12/19/08. Last spotted about 45 minutes north of Las Vegas, New Mexico (AROUND WAGON MOUND) wandering on I-25. Ginger is medium sized (about 35 lbs.) and cream colored, also wearing a smiley face collar and has an El Paso County rabies tag. She also has a tattoo on her belly. Please if you have picked her up or even seen her please contact us ASAP I'm sure she needs medical treatment and is hungry and dehydrated besides being terrified. You may also contact John & Jan Rogers @ jrshorse@netzero.net OR me (Marie Smith) at turtle1714@yahoo.com if you have ANY information on her.
Her photo is attached.

Make this a Happy Holiday for us all and help us find our dog! Happy Holidays to you all!

Please know, she is immediately in All my prayers! I'm hoping some kind souls have found her already and will contract the proper people for you.
I hope you also know that many many newspapers {daily and once a week types} will print Lost and Found ads for Free. Please check that out too, for that area!
Also, I can't remember the name of it right now, There is a family owned/named Supply-Farm-Ranch-Gear-Feed store in Wagon Mound, call and check if they would put up a lost paper/poster there for you {they have a website too I'm sure,
I can't remember their name- sorry!}. Check with other such Feed and supply type stores, if a Farmer/Rancher has picked her up on their land they might have her and see the Posters in the Feed stores Vets. too for that area.
Oh Great Good Luck for her, and please post back IF she's found, so we can be "relieved" as I'm sure you all will be
She's in my Prayers!

Protective Blessing for Dogs
Here is a little prayer to get Ginger to return:
Goddess of the Wild,
Keeper of dogs both fierce and mild,
Hold Ginger safely in your arms
and protect her from all harm.
Should the day come when she roams
guide her to the path back home.
Bless Ginger with a joyful life
Free of hardship, stress and strife.
I've used this prayer once when my dog Isis got lost. She returned to me safely.

Even though I am catman, I hope you manage to find her. She looks like a sweet dog. Best of luck to you.

Thank you for your well wishes. I have contacted radio stations, rescues, shelters, vets, have flyers up every where because of a fabulous lady from the rescue down there. No news to update you with... We were hoping she'd be home with us today but the day is still early. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

For Whatever Its Worth
Dogs that are lost and hungry usually can smell the Air and the Closest Food and shelter on windy days. Places like Fast Food Restauraunts and Diners a dog can smell for miles. Along the Interstates they find food people throw out of their vehicles also but im sure they are afraid of the traffic also. Dogs sometimes if they are not used to traveling can get nervous and confused and just take off in whatever direction. I had a dog that got lost out in the Mountains years ago and it took about a week or more for the dog to get home just 20 miles away. el pintada kid

I generally don't agree with the kid on many issues but he's spot-on this time. Check the garbage/trash drop off facilities, around regional dumpsters, esp. around restaurants and along roadways. Best of luck finding your friend.
