We have my daughter and her family here from Texas....including my four year old grand-daughter who never gets to see snow --- and she has been having a BALL playing in the foot of snow we have here in Santa Fe. I think she enjoyed the snow more than her Christmas gifts.

Hi bacich! It's just great to hear from you! Merry Christmas!
We went to the Zuni Store near the Plaza in Santa Fe yesterday. The name of the store is Keshi and it contains only Zuni crafts - mostly fetishes. Wonderful beautiful pieces.
The woman who owns the store talked to us for a long time. Her name is Robin Dunlap and she was a teacher at Zuni Pueblo in the 1980s. What wonderful stores she had to tell. Her daughter lived there in the pueblo village with her and was the only white child living there, and she was embraced and loved by the Zuni children.
The store has a whole wall filled with pictures of Robin's students from Zuni, pictures of them now as adults and also of their children.
If you ever get to Santa Fe, you must visit Keshi and meet Robin. She would love to talk to a current teacher from Zuni.
Hope you are doing well and having a great school year. Who's learning more -- the kids or you?

Thanks Towanda,
Happy new Year! I will visit the store. I've been busy making over 500 puppets with the kids. I don't know who is learning more. I'm known as The Story Teller. Tomorrow I'm doing a puppet show about a new character "Ollie The Magical Elf". The last reading night before the holidays was snowed out. Next month I'm doing a new story about my train ride to San Francisco. It's called The Ghosts on The Midnight Express. I just love it here. The Zuni's don't remember having so much snow. I hate to think that I brought it. We had a lot of rain since we got here too. Harley was sick for 2 months and curtailed our trips around. He's his old self now. Everyone thought it would be a culture shock for us moving here. The only difficult thing has been difficulty getting sea food. we travel to ABQ every month. Our next trip will be to my favorite place Santa Fe. Bacich
