Hummmmm. I am not an ABQean. I am a legal resident of New Mexico. But I do not live in ABQ. Did they change voting laws again?

Just kidding Sunport, I knew why you put him in [I think... ].

Poncho: As I understand it, the poll is now open to anyone.

I think Heather Wilson has to be the most intelligent politicians to have ever held office in NM. Her speech at a Memorial Day event in Albuquerque was one of the most moving speeches I have ever heard. She was far better than Steve Pierce or even John McCain, allof whom spoke there that day. She gets my vote !

Voting for val kilmer is like voting for margaret chavez de aragon (mayor marty's wife) as that's just lunacy. Although i dislike both Democrats and Republicans as i'm a Independant or ''New Mexican Succession party'' i'd probably vote for Heather Wilson because i really do like her and she knows all of our bases and national labs and she's been in the cabinet before under former Gov Johnson and she's in the middle like me on most issues.

Where's Gary Johnson when you need him?

Poll title is "Who would you vote for?"
........ not "Who *are* ya gonna vote for?"

rustic35 satiricalyy wondered:

The one who's points of view I most agree with. < grrrrrowwwwellll ! >

It might end up being Val who is the sexiest(?) Yes, if he says
the right things, I'll find him the sexiest of the three.

I didn't vote because frankly, I don't know much about their
views and policies and opinions.

I can guess Wilson's views somewhat, but even she has not
really been focused on NM issues in her career - just bringing
in the pork from Washington. That's not a mark against her,
because that's pretty much what all politicians everywhere in
the world do.

In any case, I like a politician with a point of view rather than
one that plays to an audience. I don't want to hear what they
think I want to hear. I want them to take chances and tell me
what they think.

Too many politicians don't really have a point of view other
than: "I want to get elected."

Yeap Gov Johnson rebuilt the Big-I in ABQ and also widen U.S. 54 around 65 miles from 2 lanes to 4 lanes from El Paso to Alamogordo and also put in the western Bi-Pass in Alamogordo as Alamo and the area there loves former Gov Johnson.

Even though I didn't have the pleasure of residing in NM under Gary Johnson, consider this yet another hypothetical vote of approval of voting for Gov. Johnson should he have the itch to re-run.
