I think so as well. If you pull up the profile on 54/60/285 it says previous locations are "middle of nowhere New Mexico". Vaughn -middle of nowhere? Yea, kinda is! Not much going on there except wind at this time of the year-and lots of it!

There's no Wal Mart in Vaughn. However, there are plenty of very seedy hotels. Vaughn is, how shall I put it, a very, very strange place.

Take the money from them that they panhandled/robbed from others, buy them another bottle and tell them to go sit in the middle of the highway.
Gotta be mean sometimes to these skanks.

'Addiction' is not an excuse to behave badly. I don't think we should have to do anything to help people that choose to live like trash.

I'll even provide a plastic lawn chair for them to sit in on the highway.

They are less fortunate because they sit around boozing/drugging all day. Like Song, I have NO patience with drunks and addicts!
A less fortunate person who works to try to better themselves....and doesn't go the drug/alcohol route is a different matter altogether.

Less fortunate because they choose to live like trash?
Why don't they go out and get a job and pay taxes like some of us do?
Cathy, let's take some extra chairs and sit on the side of the road and watch.

Untreated mental illness is a serious problem for many impoverished Americans. Make sure your chairs are pushed back far enough so that no flying body parts hit you.

In no way am I talking about mental illness or any kind of illness.
We're talking about the drunks/druggies that choose there lifestyle and want to live that way.
I've nothing against a little drinking and carrying on once in awhile but when someone makes it there lifestyle and interferes with my life, it's time for them to make a change.
