What do we do about the drunks in my town?

I've nothing against a little drinking and carrying on once in awhile but when someone makes it there lifestyle and interferes with my life, it's time for them to make a change.

Why are these people doing this to themselves? And ,yes I am posting in New Mexico because you all have the problem too especially in Shiprock and Gallup. We are always having to scrape these people of the pavement when they cause an accident or get hit walking into town for booze or whatever.

you know imo i think your right, tribes should be doing more to help their people, drug and alcohol is a huge problem. its a sad problem. why are they doing this? who knows, they are filled with dispair, depression and feel hopeless. there could be many reasons.

You need to get over the racism thing. For the record, I'm not racist and I don't see where you would get such a stupid idea from what I said.
I'm talking about the drunks as the original poster and everyone else is too. If it falls into the native american race, so be it.

Yes,the drunks I am talking about are native american. I didn't want to say it at first but in fact that is what I was getting at. Didn't mean to upset everyone,just wanted to see how other people might view this problem.
