I dont like for January and February to be warm because Mother Nature fools the Fruit trees and flowers into thinking its time to bloom and then they get Zapped by 20 below zero weather and snow and there goes the Fruit. el pintada kid
The bug and rodent populations tend to overpopulate if the weather doesn't get cold enough either. It'd be nice if we had a month or two long cold spell.
No fooling the fruit trees in Ohio, it's been a few weeks below 20 daytime and nights in single digits. Not too much fluctuation will wear on you after a while.
Winter started right after Halloween in Ohio, and hasn't let up, and will not til March. Is this someones idea of global warming?

I miss being in a tee-shirt in February.
Ditto for NY and the reason for me posting in here is the "I don't like warm weather in the winter" title caught my eye when I signed in
Yes, all who posted have valid reasons but after 20 months of cold and snow and clouds (or so it feels like it!), I'd give anything for a warm, sunny day right now as I yank my blanket around me a little tighter
Please, someone enjoy a few moments of pure, sunny warmth for a fellow American! I thank you kindly
The cherry trees are starting to bloom and it is going to be 83 today in Las Cruces.
Happy Mardi Gras everyone
