Alamogordo area folks.
Just a reminder to the folks in the Alamogordo School District area.
PLEASE, don't forget the up coming election for the School Bond and 2 School Board positions. Election day is Feb. 3rd but early voting is going on until the 30th at the County Clerks office.
Thanks

I hope the bonds pass as it will allow alamo to build a new elemetary school and renovate many of the old schools. Also alamo could use some of those construction jobs.

I agree 100%. I am a member of the planning committee that has spent months looking at the school issues and helped put forth this bond issue.
When we looked at each individual school, we toured all of them, my first suggestion on several was to start with a bulldozer

It is unreal how they have let things go on both school needs and streets. I hope the bonds pass, too.

Appreciate it.
It has been alot of work over the last 6 months or so and now with trying to push the bond through the election process it has me about worn out.
Not to mention that I also stuck my neck WAY out and decided they needed a "common" person on the board so I'm running for that also. Along with about a dozen other projects and the fact that I'm getting married the first part of April is making me wonder where I'm finding all this time

Yup, they have been using the bandaid approach for years both on the schools, streets, city library and a few other projects.
The election on Feb 3rd is only school related items, then in March is the city bond election for street etc.
