Default Moving to New Mexico

My husband and I have started considering a move to NM. The first obstacle is jobs (really the only one). He is a locomotive engineer for an East Coast Class1 railroad and would like to stay with the railroad. We see that there is a big BNSF yard in Belen, but we cannot find any information about hiring. Any railroaders out there? With any suggestions??

Belen has the 3rd largest train depot in the US. Many people from Belen have worked for the Railroad and it continues to employ many people. Here is the link to the Career website:http://www.bnsf.com/careers/
Many of my friends and family have worked for/work for the Railroad. Great retirement, good bennies.

CleoM,

You need to keep going to this web link as it is where you can find out about BNSF jobs. Click on Apply Now and the jobs available will open for you.

I just checked and at this time there is no locomotive engineer jobs that are posted.

Good luck in your up coming move. Also I can not help you with any information about New Mexico as I am from Nebraska. BNSF has the main coal train route running from the coal fields of Wyoming to where ever they take the coal to.
