Question Valentine's Day in Ruidoso?

Hi, does anyone have suggestions for dining out in Ruidoso on V's Day evening? The Inn of the Mountain Gods was my first thought, but the main restaurant there is pretty pricey. Maybe the buffet restaurant there instead?

A smaller place with some variety would be nice -- sea food and vegetarian dishes, etc. Even Italian or Mexican might work. And definitely less than $50-$75 per plate!

Thanks for any ideas.

Send Michelle1210 a direct message. She lives in Ruidoso and can probably help you out with that.

Have you thought about Morsels? This is a great place and very good food. A bit pricey, but should be within your budget. It is a small place, and not nearly as nice of atmosphere at the Inn's main room, but you might take a look.

We had a similar situation where we wanted to have a nice evening without spending a ton of money, so what my wife and I did was have dinner at Sierra Blancas and then went to the piano bar at the IMG and had a bottle of wine there and watched the sunset. That was really amazing, and a great way to spend the evening. Just a thought....

Thanks for the suggestions. Much appreciated. I just read several good reviews of Morsels. Also thinking about Pasta Cafe and Le Bistro. Looks like we'll have a few options.

Also The Greenhouse in Capitan but check the menu. It is a little limited. The Texas Steakhouse and the Cattle Baron has consistantly good food.

Default The Best Hamburgers

I have met some of my Girlfriends in Carrizozo and eaten at the Outpost bar and museum where they have the Best hamburgers and a Ton of Fries but someone said dont order the Salad? Taking the time to walk all the Stores in one area of town is on my agenda. They are filming a movie the Book of Eli there i think Sally Struthers and some other stars were there? Carrizozo has the Valley of Fires and the Best Cherry Cider and lots of interesting places to visit and its just 30 miles from Ruidoso through some beautiful country in between. Capitan and White Oaks is nearby and Ancho and lots of places to camp and hike and search for gold and take pics. p.s. i think the movie people were looking for Weird people with long hair? I was gonna Apply but i think ill wait until they are making a Movie about UFOs. el pintada kid

The Great Wall of China has good sushi (besides Chinese of course)... oddly better (and cheaper) than what we could get when we lived in Hawaii.
