I heard that Amelia Earhart was killed by the Japanese, but I have no idea if that's true or not. I've read what you posted about the Lorius case- interesting stuff. Sad for them though.

I've always wanted to know if there really was an Atlantis, and if so, what happened to it and where it is.
Also, the guy in Florida who built the rock garden in like the 30's or 40's weighing literally tons and tons all by himself, at night, with no help or visible heavy equipment...how did he do it? I think they call it the Coral Castle or something like that.
Also, why did the mayans abandon their cities?
Those are some things that come to mind.

What was that guy's name that hijacked a plane over Washington state and parachuted out? He was never caught. I think that's a good Unsolved Mystery.
Also - America's Stonehenge, in New Hampshire (Londonderry, I think)...

Yeah! That was D.B.Cooper...vanished with the loot, never to be seen again. But apparently "they" don't think he survived the jump.
Oh, and I think the honorable mention has to go, even though it's not american, for the caucasian mummies in China wearing textiles that were produced in Europe thousands of years before anything like that was supposed to be going on. Not necessarily a mystery..but certainly proof that the history books are definitely part fairy-tale! lol

I'm pretty sure one of the unsolved mysteries is how Pintada Kid comes up with some of his stories. I know I can't explain it.
