You can trash the messenger all you want...
It's all in the news articles and magazines.

Sorry if you like Val Kilmer. But this is all over the internet. People in New Mexico need to see it the most, since he wants to run for governor of New Mexico.
Stupid is that stupid does... (And I thought he was a pretty good actor.)
There are many vets and vets-supporters in New Mexico. But you don't have to be one of these, in order to understand how Val Kilmer thinks.

His comments on acting and Vietnam Vets should be pretty low on anyone's list of reason to vote or not to vote for him. I think New Mexico has much more important issues to work on.

Proud Cap, I'm not a Vietnam Vet, but I am a vet, and I participated in airborne missions during my service in combat designated areas. I respect all vets, but I think you are taking things out of context. I don't necessarily like or dislike Val Kilmer, I just think you should not judge him based upon his comments in that interview regarding method acting.

I will NOT be your huckleberry, Kilmer! Leave the vets alone and go play pretend with others that never served their country! It's not a game, war is real!

In my opinion, this kind of ranting and raving should be done in the Politics forum. This thread no longer is about New Mexico, and should be shut down.

Hey, but he's got us all talking about the 2010 election, which up till now was a foregone conclusion in terms of its players, and that's a good thing. You don't have to vote for the guy!
We often (me included) complain about people who move here and don't get involved in civic life. Well, here's a guy who's in the throes of deciding to do just that. I say, good for you - democracy is a messy business so if you want to join in, go ahead.

What is the proper term for people who register for the apparent sole purpose of trolling? Is it a drive-By-Troller?
