Gee. Now we have people wanting to drive cars over Pintada Kid's face.
Doesn't everyone here at this forum have a right to their opinions, even P.K., without being flamed for them?
Not when it comes to deliberate harm directed at life forms!!!
EYE FOR AN EYE, TOOTH FOR A TOOTH!!!!!!!!!!! Is it "funny" to drive a car over a snake that has just as much purpose and right to live on this earth? A snake that has been around for 15+ years?
To have an opinion is one thing, but Pintada Kid advocates the brutal killing of innocent life, and there are MANY people on this site and around the world who do NOT take lightly to his antics!!! Especially people like me who love snakes.
I hope Pintada is caught by the conservation police or reservation police for shooting a snake and is punished. And with any luck, I hope he kills a threatened and/or endangered species and has to pay hefty fines. Of course I dont WISH for any snake to be harmed, but if it takes Pintada Kid facing hefty fines for his cowardly and BS actions, then Im alllllllllll for it.

It is clearly evident from your numerous postings that you prefer reptiles over human beings. Considering many of your responses to many individuals on CD, you apparently hate people and love to attack and degrade anyone who doesn't agree with you.
To many of us, the safety of our family, our children, our pets is priority #1. We live in the southwest and you don't. You come out for a visit to commune with the wildlife for a few days and then go back home to Chicago.
Tell me, how many critters do you have stuck in cages up in Chicago?
You're also a vegetarian, right? Nah, I don't think so.
As a Kid running through the open Grass Lands of New Mexico after Livestock and even the Milk Cows and Calfs trying to get them back to the Corrals so they could be milked i remember Praying all the time and hoping i wouldnt get bit by a Rattler that were everywhere and when youre out in the Pasture on foot you run or try to fly and hope that if you step on a Rattler that you dont give it time to wake up before youre gone. The Technique these Snake lovers use is Threats and Misinformation to close a post everytime i try to post along with their Supposedly Expertise about Animals and it doesnt bother me their Dirty Tactics but depriving N.M. newcomers and Natives of my Expertise is not right. KID TIP... My main Objective is not to kill snakes or other Critters but to Make People Aware of the Danger and when a Rattler does come into your area how to Kill it safely and for City People who come out here to get an idea how to kill them or at least Dispose of them. As a Kid 9 or 10 years old i did lots of walking in the back country day or night as part of the Job and running and whatever Dislikes i have for Rattlers is ingrained in me and NO City Slicker or UNO DESOS QUE SABES MAS Y ENTIENDE MENOS is gonna convince me to Shoo a Rattler on its merry way so it can bite me at a later date. KID TIP... Seems there was some kind of Reference in the Bible about Snakes. el pintada kid
Whoa whoa whoa. I am backing Steve-o 100%. He is from the midwest where I come from..and we had plenty of rattler there as well! I do have a reason to get fired up about the topic..wildlife conservation is what I do for a living. Its what I have done for years, where I focused my degree in school..and what I do to make a living. It angers me to know that people out there...many of them... encourage actions that do harm to what I (and many many others) work so hard, every day to achieve!
On a side note, being a vegitarian is a completely different topic. Annnd..it depends on what degree one IS a vegitarian and why. Serving a meat based meal for supper did not require the "eater" to brutally slaughter the animal simply because it...walked into your yard and across your pourch!
Furthermore, although people are trying to protect their family, children and pets..if you fear that these other critters are endangering you...you clearly know nothing about them and do not belong outside the walls of your home.
I agree with an earlier stated comment that everyone is entitled to their opinion..and apparently the topic of killing animals, whether you think they deserve it or not, is a debate that will never be won.
PK stated why he began this topic. Steve-O is the one who got off topic (as usual) about people killing snakes.
Steve-O is known for being nasty to people. He told me one time to seek "mental help" because I do not like snakes and am scared of them. I do not like snakes, do not want to like snakes and have no intentions of getting close enough to one to be educated about them. That is my right and no one, esp. a city slicker, is going to tell me what to do.
I am not going to go looking for snakes. Will I kill one? Not unless its absolutely necessary, and even then I will let someone else dispose of it as I have no wish to be that close to one.
As for "not belonging outside the walls of my home", well you are no better than Steve-O with his self appointed "I am God" syndrome.
I am sure this post will soon be closed, as is every one that S-O butts into.

Obviously you didn't read what I said thouroughly. Did you miss the part where I said everyone is entitled to their own opinion?! You must not agree?
Also..why does everyone conclude that just because Steve-o is from Chicago that he is a city slicker?! Have you been to the area?
Finally..no one ever said you had to get close to snakes if you WANTED to learn about them. I'm always willing to teach someone about wildlife in any way possible...again if you WANTED to learn.
Here's another tip: That kind of comment is totally out of line.
FWIW, there are no idiots in New Mexico. There are, however, more eccentric people per capita there than anywhere else in the world. If you insist on assigning offensive names such as "idiot" to people who live a divergent lifestyle or hold substantially differing opinions, may I suggest you find an area where there are a greater number of clones than New Mexico where there is an inordinate number of unique individuals.
