Just to say thanks for the invite Song....as you one of my favorite posters on city data who's always POSITIVE which are my favorites i.e. the Happy Go Lucky types .
Unfortunately i inherited my dads northern european genes as we both have Celiac really bad so any food products with hidden gluten and also most grains/pasta really effects me badly as like someone poured acid down my throat (auto immune) so i basically eat just beef/salmon and vegetables with frozen blueberries (boring diet) which leaves out most restaurants as i almost always prepare my own meals.
Although my last full blood panel test (TLC, HDL, LDL, C-Reactive Protein, Fasting Blood Sugar etc.) was excellent at 40 so i guess that's the payoff ....lol....
Anyway you all enjoy em and support Alamo.

I drove by today on my way to Wallyworld and it is called Wally's. It is down close to Samon's the plumbing store. Like I said I think it is only paperback but all genre's if I am not mistaken.

Thanks ajzjmsmom for the info. I'll have to check them out.
Sex Pedi Tres, I don't really have alot of foods that bother me but I prefer making my own meals too. Peppers or Applebees might be a good choice though as they let you substitute and it's hard to screw up salmon or a salad.
I need to follow your diet though.

Yeap alot of breading and sauces in foods have gluten in them as it's all over in foods. Even soy sauce is a no no. But that's life and it only bothers me when i see some of the food commercials then i feel cheated .
Seeya Song!!
P.S. i forgot to add long term posters Chilligal and Cathy 4017 have always invited me for lunch in the alamo area so i wanted to also thank them for thei hospitality.
Just stay away from the ''Al-O-Mar'' resturaunt in Tularosa as you have no idea what your eating if you catch my drift .

Sex Pedi Tres (latin)
I was thinking Sex was German and Tres was French. Didn't know what Pedi was.
I was going to ask but thanks for reading my mind.

Well, you could join us for a cup of coffee at the place on Scenic.....I haven't been up there since I moved here. I ate there a couple of times when I was driving back and forth!
That's tough on the gluten intolerance--sorry to hear about it. It really is all over the place. If you cook, you can make sauces with cornstarch instead of flour, but you probably are already aware of that!

Sex is Six, Pedi is Foot, Tres is Three .
I quasi studied latin in school so i quasi know some of it but no one speaks it except latin clubs or certain catholic churches so it's easy to forget it.
I like your new photo...... is it a Celtic symbol?

LOL...i went to burger king yesterday as you just gotta have some fast food every so often as we are all human so i threw the bun away and eat it like an ''atkins diet'' but some of the bread was stuck on the patties as i thought no problem as that was just a tad bit and now i'm sitting here with my intestines burning as it takes about 24 hours for them to calm down .
Whats really kinda funny is most people in the world can handle grains/gluten as i can't and yet i can handle all dairy as i love milk and produce lactase and yet 90% of the world is lactose intolerent and can't handle dairy as it's strainge how we can be different in our Genomes.
