Default Alien Apex Resort

It looks like the alien apex resort is one step closer to becoming a reality. New Mexico state legislature recently approved $245,000 for a business plan on the planned resort and theme park. Once a business plan is done then it will be submitted to investors for funding. This will bring more changes to the already changing southeastern New Mexico. The resort will be designed for all ages which will include, major rides(roller coasters), interactive learning centers, research centers. a possible ampitheater, hotels/motels, restaurants, nightly shows and much more of that entertaining stuff. The website is almost complete at www.alienapexresort.com
This is getting worldwide attention..just do a google search on roswell theme park and see all the hype going on..

Article Launched: 05/25/2007 04:00:30 PM MDT

ROSWELL, N.M. (AP) — It could happen only in Roswell. City officials want to help build a UFO-themed amusement park, complete with an indoor roller coaster that would take passengers on a simulated alien abduction.

Sounds like a great idea. It will tend to attract people away from the part of the state I want to visit.

Roswell is just barely getting an airline that flies to Houston, even for that they are getting funds from other cities in the region. I seriously doubt that this "alien theme park" is going to become a reality. I think the city lacks one main feature for such a theme park to happen - its called people. SE NM is not exactly the tourist destination of NM so the theme park is nothing but hype - maybe mikus made some investments in Roswell and what a way to get a good return by creating some hype. SE NM is only good for a few things - corruption, oil and wish I was Texas attitude.

Look at you....assuming im an investor probably from out of state,, trying to create hype,,,actually I'm a native New Mexican born in Roswell and raised there and in neighboring Lincoln county. I'm not the one creating all the hype, report came out in the associated press all over the world.
Simply a Roswellean hoping to see the area someday in the future become a nice place to visit and live. Tengo mucho gente, I have a lot of people there in southeastern nm. I'm just happy man, trying to spread the word. How great would an amusement park be?? Roswell has the theme name what better place for this to happen. Why be such a downer about it?? They say it could be opening by 2010. Thats 3 years to prepare, 3 years to build hotels, restaurants, 3 years to advertise throughout the world.. Call me crazy but I see it happening, ive been seeing it in my head for many years and now its coming true. And now that you can fly to Roswell through Dallas/Ft. worth, that gives anyone around the world where American airlines flies a chance to come to this park that will be buiding up hype for the next couple of years. oh yeah, Houston?? its Dallas ....
With all the info and facts that are out, i dont see how you could not see it being possible..
just wanna add if they team up with Carlbad caverns, Ruidoso, and lincoln, they could offer vacation packages to visit the whole southeastern NM area with shuttles/ tours and rental cars....etc.etc,,, if its done right I believe it can happen.
one more thing Roswell isnt blessed like Alamogordo or Las cruces that have and are near gorgous mountains, and have awesome desert landscapes, red dirt etc, infact Roswell is ugly and smells and has alot of drive bys,
lots of church people for lack of a better term who dont ever want any change in southeastern NM and of course all those Texas wannabees, but I can overlook all that and hope that in 10 to 20 years when I might be ready to move back to the mountains in Lincoln county. That Roswell will be a cool and entertaining place to visit while i'm visiting friends and family, and I hope to see it more diverse. How will all those church people in roswell deal with an alien theme park??
