There goes the fruit trees. My apricot already flowered, so this snow and frost will surely kill any fruit just like last year. Oh well, more skiing, less fruit...I can live with that.

On the local news where I'm at Brian, they mentioned Dalhart, Tx., just down the road from ya, with 7 foot drifts, the wind really howling! I've been stuck in those panhandle snows. Talked to a construction buddy of mine in Tucumcari a while ago and it's nasty there as well. You take care down there!

I don't have fruit trees (well, we have a crabapple but I am not sure it ever produces anything) but I AM worried about all the budding trees and shrubs and the new perennials I have seen getting their spring growth -- I wonder how much damage was done to them?

I guess we will know this weekend whether the storm damaged anything.

Looks like a lot of fresh new snow up on the mountains though, Vinegaroon. ?The city and the mountains all around us looked really glorious today!

JUst getting it now and boy is it coming down. Yesterday it was mostly hail and lots of thunder over night. Now the snow is everywhere..It is a perfect day to bake, do catch up on things I need to do and watch basketball (March Madness and a couple of horses)

As soon as I bake some cream cheese bars I think it will be almost time for basketball and wine..
