no im really interested, i live right next to nm, in el paso, were like 30 min away from las cruces.

CAthy,
I am guessing she went to either New Mexico State or the University of NM, lots of times this is the case. I do agree, it seems if you are miss X state you should actually be from that state.

Hmmm, they held her for 6 hours.  wondering if that was when she sobered up enough to drive? or, were the jailers and arresting officers just galking at her?
Also wondering if she'll be stripped (no pun intended) of her ms. NM ? Hopefully when she was stopped, she didn't blurt out "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM"? all I'm sayin' is that would've been something a DB would say.
I guess there's nothing funny about driving drunk, although some might think this my lame attempt of trying to be funny. sorry. 
Anyway, I'm glad she was taken off the road, no matter what state, new mexico or texas. maybe she will learn her lesson?  some people never do.
