Default Major Movie Studio at Mesa Del Sol?

Hi,

Does anyone knows how the major movie studio is coming up?

How's the construction going?

Do you have any pictures of the it?

Thanks!

Vertix.

Thanks for the info.

I just came back for a trip to NM, (only a couple of days, though).

I'm from Los Angeles; My family and I loved NM.

I work in the movie post production business, so that's why I was asking about the movie studio.

We liked Tijeras a lot, but it might be to woody for our kids.
We also visited Edgewood. The new houses with those big backyards attracted our attention.

What do you guys/gals think about the Edgewood area?
Schools?

I saw they were clearing up ground for a new Super Wal-Mart in Edgewood.
Is that a good thing?

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Vertrix.

The movie studios are only 1/4 complete. They recently wrapped up construction on Phase I, which is the most critical, as this contains most of the production space. Phase II and III will also add additional studio space but will consist mainly of office, post-production, and retail space. Phase III and IV will provide more retail and housing. The project is on an accelerated schedule so it shouldn't take more than 3 or 4 years to be entirely complete.

I'm from Edgewood NM and I have lived here for 8 years and I think this is one of the best places to raise a family that is way we moved to the east mountains to get of the city . The schools here are great I have a Daughter in the 6th grade and a son who is in the 12th grade as for the land in Edgewwod the prices are on the rise, Our Walmart was finshed in March and now we are looking forward to having a reataurnt and a 6 screen movie theather some time next year so this is the perfact time to relocate here.

I think Walmart is a bad thing for any town/city. I only go in one as an absolute last resort. :-(
