We're heading to San Francisco tonight and will return on Monday afternoon.

Song, I hope your potluck goes well and please tell the firefighters thanks from me too. If that fire had gotten out of hand a lot of the Lincoln National Forest could have been toast.

Everyone please take a moment to reflect on the meaning of Memorial Day. A lot of good people lost their lives for us to live like we do. Freedom!!!

Have a great time in SF JDTH.
We're going to Belen tomorrow (suburb of Albq.) for a couple of days.

It's pouring down rain here.

I'm glad to hear about rain!!

We had about 12 hours of rain here yesterday, not a lot, probably half an inch, but for us to get any rain in May is really rare an we certainly can use it. It is also raining in Ruidoso. Through some of the weather sites online I can pretty much pinpoint our house in Ruidoso and see if it is raining there.

Have fun in Belen!

12hrs for half a inch??

Last May/June it rained for 8 days straight and we had about 3 feet of rain. At anytime their was always some type of rain whether it was pouring or sprinkling.

We don't get as much as we need here ever but the rain over the past couple of days I hope has helped the fire danger go down.

Just bucketed down rain here. Love that smell
I planted my Tomatoes and Habaneros too so that should help alot. Even with me grass too.
I think you can water with tap water all day long with very little results, but a drop of rain is about 100 times better
