Sort of a little funny story to tell about my nerve block yesterday. I made it perfectly clear to the nurses and aids that I did not want to see the needles when I walked into the room. They cooperated fully and sort of screened them from my view by positioning themselves in the room as I walked in.

I got up on the table. face down and got into the position needed for the procedure. The aids then did a inventory of what the doctor needed for my procedure. This is what they said "two 10" 18 gauge needles, a 12" 20 gauge needle, a 22 gauge needle, etc, and then it was on to the pain killers Xylocaine, M-something-caine and one other pain killer". I was a little groggy by then so the quotes are not perfect. It really did not ease my mind. I would like to thank them so much for not letting me see the needles but describing them in full detail to me so I knew exactly how I would be violated in the next 20 minutes wasn't quite right either. If I remember correctly there were 6 needles used. OUCH!!!

Anyway, things went fine. I seem to doing just fine. Time will tell and thanks to you all for caring. It means a lot to me!!

Some people just don't have it all upstairs.

Glad you're done with it anyway.

Song,

I'm doing just fine. Thanks for asking. Yesterday I wasn't quite up to par, but today I am feeling pretty good. I thought about mowing the lawn today, but it is going it be 115 today. I will get Stacy's son Connor to mow for me. It will cost me some cash. That is okay with me. They are going to San Diego next week and I am sure he could use the cash.
