It can be a lot of fun. You could spend a few days at the Museum of Science and Industry, Lincoln Park Zoo, Shedd Aquarium, Natural History Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago and then there is Water Tower Place, Navy Pier, Michigan Ave. and more

I guess I will have to go sometime!

I know you would, Jane....and I'd do it, too, as hot as it has been. But today only got up to 84, so it wasn't so bad.

Got my red bells put in.....will probably do one box of green chile tomorrow and the last one on Monday. They'll have to stay at the back of the patio in the shade for a few days, though.

Stay warm, OK? I saw where parts of the Midwest are getting freeze warnings.

And we're burning up out here.

Yesterday was 94/66. Last year on the same day: 69/48

Strange, strange weather, and I don't like it AT all. Last May was quite nice and pleasant. This May has been pretty miserable to me. If I could send you 20 degrees, I'd do it!

Were going to bottom out at around 30-35 for the next few nights.Since this is completely normal for us they usually dont really bother issuing Frost Warnings.

I'd trade with both of you except for the humidity, LOL!! 46 degrees where Jane is (with 64% humidity) is CHILLY.....and I have no doubt that it's the same (if colder) where you are!

I can just imagine what my bum knees would do...ache all the time.

I might complain about the heat, but the dry DOES have its great advantages, and it's what I'm used to!

It's quite nice here this morning, at 57. All of the tomatoes and chiles look quite happy!

Hope it finally quit raining there....I know y'all are probably sick of it.

That's nice!!! The humidity here right now is very high....52% (ugh), and it's getting hot. I don't envy those with swamp coolers right now.

Have a nice IN day!!
