I quit playing in June 1987. On July 5th 1987 I had to have my ankle fused. I played so much that I wore out all the cartilage in my right ankle, just bone on bone. They actually cut through my ankle with a saw, removing about an inch and then screwed it back together. I am 6' 2" on the left leg and about 6' 1" on the right. Non weight bearing for 6 months. I've never been the same. I have had many other surgeries since to fix more foot/ankle problems, but I still love the game. To me it is like a chess match. Every pitch counts.

Absolutely love the game (baseball/softball) and have coached for many years. Now retired from both

Thanks LadyRobyn

Your Welcome!

I also learned that their is "fake" Mexican food in New MEXICO. I actually thought untill I became a regular here that New Mexico would be the best state for Mexican food without going across the border.

New Mexicans are accused of being prejudice??
