The drive across the Mescalero Reservation is really pretty! When we were looking for property.....we were wishing we could figure a way to buy a piece of it...........
We can always find an excuse to have a get together....

As i took latin in high school although i admit i have forgotten alot as it's a dead language so no one to practice with over the years but i do remember some of it.
I also studied alot about how the european languages were formed as the germanic, romance and celtic are the foundations of them and do you know that todays german is not pure as it's divided into 3 divisions and then from there sub divisions of it's earliest foundation out of germania about 3,000 years ago.
I know there is North German,South German and maybe Swiss German
I'm familiar with that area Song! If you're on I-10 and you want to go to Austin and save time and avoid aggravation going south to san Antonio and back up to Austin, you get off at the second exit on the east side of the Segovia truck stop (eaten there several times), and go straight east to Fredericksburg, then Johnson City, and east to Austin. Lots of antique stores through there. Been through there several times but not recently.
Segovia truck stop has great chicken fried steak...
School's out for the summer huh?

School is out for summer on May 28th. Then I have a week to chill here and then I am taking off to Southern Indiana/Kentucky for a few days. Then come back for another week. Then go to summer camp for 2 weeks and them come back. Then again were supposed to go somewhere but I dont know yet.
