Default May be relocating to the Albuquerque area

May be relocating to the Albuquerque area (with family) and Rio Rancho has been highly recommended as an area to consider living. Have read posts here, but am looking for very current scoop on the area. Interested in nice residential areas, good schools, amenities, easy commute to Albuquerque. Are there any recommended subdivisions you can offer? Saw older posts that referred to Enchanted Hills. Would be moving from the east coast, so anything you can offer will be appreciated! Thanks.-----Mercy

That really depends on where you live in Rio Rancho and where you are going to commute to in commute to Albuquerque.

One big factor, what side of the Rio Grande will you be going to?

My wife has a 55 minute commute.

My husband commutes to ABQ from RR and it takes him about 45 minutes. Supposedly we live way out in the middle of nowhere. LOL
Coming from the boonies of Maine, I can say that Rio Rancho is NOT way out.
