Default Spring has arrived...along with..

A few passing visitors...i.e....some fly catchers, and ??? others.
Still no humming birds, but the feeders go up tomorrow anyway.

Lots of whitewings, and morning doves passing thru and having a drink at out stock water tank.

Glad we have a basement now, still holds at about 60-64 deg.

Outside, its about 72 now....gotta work the garden and get it ready.

Happy trails,

HW

Send me some of those cardinals. I miss seeing them so much. They are my favorite bird.

We've got a birdfeeder that might be why they're here
I've gotta put the hummingbird feeder out soon
The birds come to the window in the spring to remind me to feed them

The majority do, but I am not one of them. On our block of about 30 homes I think there are only 2 or 3 that don't have pools. We have a hot tub and I turn off the heater and add ice (about 60-80 pounds) and it cools down just fine. That is how I deal with it for now. I do like the heat, but it can still wear on you after awhile, that is why we are heading to Ruidoso this weekend for 5 nights.

FYI

I really appreciate all the information you put forth on CD. You are extremely informative of NM and are willing to share freely. Thank you!!!
