We made it to 100 today officially at 3:00 PST.

In Phoenix the temperature reaches or exceeds 100 °F on an average of 110 days during the year, including most days from late May through early September, and highs top 110 °F an average of 18 days during the year. On June 26, 1990, the temperature reached an all-time recorded high of 122 °F. I remember that day well. I was working outside driving heavy equipment with no AC. They closed down Phoenix Sky Harbor airport that day because the planes could not get enough lift to ensure a safe take off.

Default Well re spring...

NOw have 1-2 hummers per day....2 feeders out.

And now have 10 chicks about 1 week old and doing ok.

The garden...hmm between working on the house...and the garden this is a full day.

Working on getting the fencing up...deer and elk come in now for the water tank...
and putting up fencing with a 15inch piece that goes out and covered with rocks to keep the digger squirrels out...

also will start some onions and potatoes next week...

then some carrots etc.

then start inside the outbuilding other stuff to set out later.

Still windy but days up to 70 and nights about 30-35..

Happy trails,

Hw

Gee hunter, I think we went from sort-of-winter right on into summer here in T or C. We burn during the day and are freezing at night.

For what it is worth Londonderry, NH was 92 deg yesterday and expected to have a high of 55 today. WYSIWYG.

Apparently, Spring did a recon and then went back to Florida.
