some ideas for a trip in NM!
Hello everyone.
nice to meet you.
I'm Italian and I have been to USA 5 times. I love USA and I would like to know other States (my dream is live in USA but I know that's only a dream.. ).
I'm very curious to see NM.
I would like to go to NM in August but for this moment, it's only an idea.
Do you have some recommends for me?
What's for you, the best tour to see New Mexico?
Many thanks guys!
Have a great Sunday

City of Rocks
I know there are many places in New Mexico to see, but the City of Rocks is like no place else on earth that I know of. I am sure many people will tell you of other places, but this place is just out of this world. It is a must see for me!!

Your English is good! Welcome to the US. Welcome to New Mexico.
If you have never been to the great SouthWest and you have the opportunity, do not pass it up.

Yes there is alot of history in New Mexico as the spanish colonizers first came here in the 1500's on the Jornada Del Muerto ''Journey of Death"" and founded the ''oldest capital'' in north america i.e. Santa Fe. Also there is alot of history with the pueblo, navajo and apache indians and before them were the ancient hunter gatherers i.e. the mogollon's and the anasazi's here in New Mexico.
LOL....if i lived in Italy i would be a permanent tourist as i LOVE everything about the Roman Empire and half my blood line is Italian (mia madre) . Yes i have been to Italy i.e. Napoli, Pompeii, Gaeta and Roma. My historical idol is Roman Dictator General Aetius ''the conqueror of the Huns'' 454 A.D. Have you ever seen the ''Via Appia''?
ciao

I love the Enchanted Circle and all the interesting towns along it... including the mountain towns of Eagle Nest, Angel Fire, Red River.
The high road and the low road to Taos are both scenic - we usually do one up and the other back.
Chimayó and the Santuario de Chimayó.
Also the Turquoise Trail between ABQ and Santa Fe.
One of NM's many casinos is always fun for a visit.
minniemouse -- make sure you sample some good New Mexican cuisine on your visit -- can't come to NM and not try the green chile!

I would like to see the Pow wow event but it's in April and for me, it's impossible to go there next week
