Egglady, thanks for the info on Kevin and Danelle. If you see her tell her the Gilmore's from Salt Flat said hi and we are praying for everyone. I have talked to her mom a couple of times today to let her know what I read on here. I can't believe El Paso news is not reporting on this fire. Watched KVIA at noon and 6pm and didn't hear a word about it. Thanks again

Hi JIC, I'm glad you were able to see Scotts truck in my pics. I saw him today riding around on his motorcycle.
Caracas is well above the fire area. Their place should be fine.

Great job on the TDC website Judy! That map is great

Willdo thumbbuster And you're very welcome

Skies are quiet this evening. I have not heard any planes for a while. Does anyone know if they are gone?

Nan

I just got a phone call from my insurance lady. She knew I was out of town and wanted to know if she could do anything.. Thats the first one to ever call me.. I will stay with her, thats for sure.

Glad to hear its quiet up there.

Judy, the map will help many to see where their place is to the fire. Thanks

From Timberon Fire Chief Joe Wheeler: As of 8:00pm 5/7, the Buckwood Fire is 20% contained. The fire has involved 140 acres, 4 structures and 5 out buildings and 10 vehicles. No one is allowed back tonight in the evacuation area, which has not changed since last night. It's possible residents will be able to return to the evacuated area tomorrow, depending on efforts tonight to contain the fire.

Default Map

Judy, how accurate is this map? I'm still holding onto some tiny glimmer of hope that my land and all my neighbors' land and homes have not burned to the ground on Homewood...I know everyone is completely tapped out with this, but if anyone is able to take pictures of the land on Homewood my husband and I would appreciate it greatly. We're in Phoenix feeling completely helpless. Everyone is in our thoughts.
