Mike, if she is Navajo she may not be associated with a Pueblo. Except by marriage. She will have a clan however.

Somehow, I just found it interesting.

I don't see anything wrong with a little sarcasm either. It's a big part of me and usually I mean it in a humorous way.

My wife is Native American (Tohono O'odham) so we have all kinds of Southwestern/Native American art all over our houses.

Who would guess using feathers with a dream catcher? (more sarcasm)
I still think it is beautiful!

Frankly, I think any post with " pastels, howling coyote pendants and indian feathers " in its title is an open invitation to sarcasm.
Stereotype meet sarcasm, sarcasm meet stereotype.

Hello, is there anyone out there?
Anyone care to give a serious answer, please?
Thank you.

When we are asked serious questions, we give serious answers. When you open a thread with a statement like 'feel free to defend your (whatever)' you, as the OP , are creating a contentious 'relationship' from the start.
I'll ask you a question: do you think that every person who moves to NYC is required to love the Empire State building?
The look to which you refer was very popular some years back, and yes, while I was house-hunting I did see some houses decorated in that style, though they were very few and far between.
I've been here 18 months, and so far, my like or dislike, of any of the things you mentioned has not once come up in conversation (other than in this thread), so, I guess the answer to your original query is 'no.'

As I've said before, it's gorgeous. I like to see different types of artwork. You should see Chilegals gourds. Maybe she'll post some pics of them.
You and your wife should come to Timberon July 4th and be one of my vendors. (hint hint)

I'm sure I would like them. I don't think we will make it this July 4th, but hopefully sometime soon. I can't imagine being in Ruidoso over the 4th, probably a bit too crazy for me, but then again I could always head down to Timberon and meet all you fine people!

If anyone is interested, Maria Adelicia makes some gorgeous black pottery. She is from the San Juan Pueblo in New Mexico. We probably have a dozen or so pieces of her work. I just can't find any pictures of it now. Hopefully later I can post 1 or 2.
Actually I need to do some work now. Da** bills. They actually want you to pay those things once in awhile. Geezzz!
