That place in Ruidoso. I think it's called Lucy's. They have great margaritas but in Timberon, it's Jose Cuervo Golden at my house.

In Santa Fe, the best margarita can be found at Maria's. However, the place is just too small, and there are only a few barstools.
The best margarita in Santa Fe for me is at Del Charro. As an added bonus, Del Charro is also one of the best values for lunch. The menu is small, but it has to be the best $5 burger in town.

I like to make my own at home too, but my wife has her favorite and if you feel like giving me a good ribbing for it go ahead. She says the Margarita Down Under at the Outback is the best she has ever had. I will take her there sometimes on Sunday for happy hour and that is what she always orders.
She says the worst she has ever had is at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. You think will all the margaritas they must sell there they would get it down. She sent her margarita back and asked for a beer.
She is on an eternal quest to find the best margarita, so next time we are in NM we will try your suggestions.
Thanks!

Thanks for the video Song,
You are making me thirsty. I was going to wait until Dawn got home from lawyering today to make a batch, but maybe I should have one waiting for her. I know she would like that, and that way I could have a head start also.

My Place....just out of town from Fence Lake...have um .on the rocks....lots of lime...
Nice patio and they have a great view...very reasonable and the barkeep is a super guy to talk with.
They also make "Catus Juice Margarites". Some of the best anywhere around.
OH, call for reservations...not always enough room....place is still being refurbished.
Happy trails,
HW

Hey, I want some too. There was a Mexican place here in St.L that served the best Cadilac Margerita's in town.
