Exclamation Wow..this afternoons weather...

About 2 pm the rains hit...and hit and hit...then about 3 pm the winds hit from the East..which is unusual as we get um from the west..took the tar paper off the chicken house that I had put on last week...had to go out and put in back on in the wind as the wind was trying to take it off again..

got in nailed down...next week shingles....but east wind?? must be a low pressure to the east..

I think it blew at least 40-to 50 gusts....

rain ok..wind no thanks..

but the garden liked it...

Nice rainbows to the east.

HW

Timberon had lots of rain, and some of the streets were flooded. Plus about 5 hrs of no elec.
But it smells so fresh.

Hmph. The temperature range in Fort Worth on Sunday was 80-103 with lots of humidity. Consider yourselves lucky, whatever it's doing! It's 4 a.m. and 83 degrees here.

We got some really nice rain yesterday afternoon and last night in Alamogordo. 40% chance again this afternoon.

I'm not complaining. We need the rain so badly, and that means I don't have to water tomorrow!!

Catman, we got up to 89 yesterday, and that isn't bad, either. Poor Texas is just roasting.

My parents' place got to 101, and Sis's south of Austin was 102......and yours even worse.
