I keep it simple, lest I lose it. Wallet regularly purged of superfluous cards, receipts, change and what-have-you. I keep duplicate, even triplicate sets of keys as I no longer trust my disintegrating memory! Nothing else.
Car key, some folding money and two quarters, a couple blue beach stones (I'm in Michigan for a while) a small Bausch & Lomb jewelers loupe, and four notes to myself about things I'm supposed to remember or do. A Leatherman on my belt -might as well be grafted onto my hip- , a wallet with the usual stuff, but no money, in the back pocket.
Phone, keys for three houses (Tempe, Ruidoso and one of my friend's house in Tempe) and keys for three cars and of course my wallet which includes my driver's license, credit and debit cards, AARP card, AAA card and my library card as well as health insurance cards.
I keep ( at least ) a twenty dollar bill in the left back pocket of every pair of pants/shorts that I own.
