Hi everyone, there has been a great thread in the Phoenix, Arizona section where people are posting pictures of their yards, it helps to give landscaping ideas, and give people such as myself who don't live in your area an opportunity to see what landscaping looks like in different parts of the country.

I started a thread like this in the San Antonio section and some great photos were posted, just like in Phoenix. So if you would be so kind as to share some photos of your yards I know many of us would be appreciative. I'm sure there is a lot of beauty when it comes to New Mexico landscaping.

Thank you, Harry, as always!

And thanks to j760 for starting this thread and mentioning the others for AZ & TX.

I went over to the Phoenix forum to check out the pictures of people's yards there. Gulp!! Pretty darned fancy. Made me feel kind of humble with my little pot of flowers. They sure do have a lot of glamorous swimming pools in AZ. Funny how we don't seem to have them so much in New Mexico. I guess it's because our lovely cool nights give us relief from the heat, or maybe it's just a desire to conserve water.

Thank you Clairz for being the first to show us some photos. I hope more people participate because it's a great way to get a feel for landscaping in different areas.

I imagine New Mexico can compete heavily with those two other threads when it comes to beauty of people's homes.

I'll do some of this tomorrow as well as some neighbor's yards.

Do you also want pictures of my former yard in Phoenix? It turned out pretty good after seven years and no water applied after the cactus (and rocks) got mature.

I hope the new residents don't rip it out and plant grass.

I just posted today, some shots of the blooms of Spring here:

Please share all the photos you'd like, I know a lot of people would love to see them.

And your spring flower photos look terrific! Those are some nice homes as well.

Mortimer,

Those are great photos.

What neighborhood is that? It looks very -- dare I say it? -- (Santa Fe).
