that is pretty much what I thought. My huband was publicity chairman for someone who ran for congress about 8 years ago. The guy (I won't mention names) was from Capatan. He certainly wasn't a lib, nor was our priest (Episcopal) in NM. She and her husband lived in Riodoso until she moved to Belen. I know a few other people from the region as well, none are even remotely liberal hippies.
