As for what you asking about T or C that is going to be hard to answer as it is only around 5,000 people so there just isn't going to be many opportunities in a town that size. Your best bet is too take a visit yourself and see what you you think good or bad.
You said you worked for the schools ...well are you going to apply at the T or C schools or maybe some of the resturaunts?? Again i'd definately go a visit for yourself as only can decide on this as again the town is very small.

6/3, I have some concerns, or questions, I guess..
The TOS aren't always that clear, or maybe it's just that they seem to be applied differently, depending on ??? I've found the moderators puzzling. Some threads have obvious problem children, and nothing is done, sometimes threads are closed without much explanation.
On this thread, I see no wrongdoing, other than people honestly expressing how they feel about the town, and experiences they've had.
What am I missing? Am I one who could be banned, since I expressed negative views of the town??
I see this as a pretty honest view of most posters here.
There were some sloppy comments, mostly made by newcomers, who I think aren't familiar with the friendliness of CD Data Forums.
Can you give some specific examples on this thread? I'm sure that would help us more than simply reporting us to a moderator, for things we're not aware of 'flamed responses', and other things that need 'cleaning up'.
Thanks.

No you won't . Sorry anomoly but i can't answer your other questions as i'd be stepping out of line as i'm not a moderator which is EnjoyEP as he is a great guy but has been busy lately as we don't see him too much. You'd have to direct those questions to him or to the City Data Admin on here.
Enjoy you postings

most of you probably dont know this, but one of my friend's dad was an undercover police man and he was investigating crime in t or c. He had investigated it from 2002-2007 and he had busted over 20 people and found more then 14 meth labs. He said that T or C was the meth capitol in new mexico. He also said that there is alot of other drugs i.e. Weed, Crack, Pills, Heroine, ect.
i wouldnt pick t or c to live, it is a runned down town with no potential like adrock112 said... i would suggest to pick another location

Oh no not 14 meth labs!!!! Heck there's probably 14 meth labs per block over in some sections of the west side of dubious denver!!!!!!
TorC, like any village, town, city or kingdom has its problems. Everyplace I've ever lived has had drawbacks aplenty. Even the lovely Big Island of Hawai'i, where I spent over twenty years of my fading youth, had (has!) a whole plethora of concerns, problems, oversights, blunders and set backs associated with it. There is no utopia....but there is a right fit...and TorC is not the right fit for you adrock. I wish you well on you life's journey and I hope you find that right fit.

Reason: meth labs and the right fit

MOD MESSAGE:
Actually, 6 FOOT and others, I am on these forums almost nearly every day, and I do try to check as many threads / posts daily as possible. Certainly though, as mods are volunteers / unpaid, we have full time jobs too, etc., and I will readily admit I am not able to see / get to each and every post of every thread.
Best case scenario is that if there are threads / posts of concern that you don't feel I am seeing in a timely enough manner, please DM me with a subject header something to the affect of "Reported Post", etc., and I will thusly be able to see and review the post ASAP when I log on, and will be able to then decide if moderational activity is needed.
As for this thread, folks, let's keep things on topic as it relates to Truth or Consequences, NOT other posters (our ourselves); see the Forum TOS.
anomoly is correct that some of the threads, while may be posted in a bristling manner, are not posts that can or should be moderated. However, there were other off topic posts here that have been removed.
Thanks for all of your cooperation and I will look forward to reading more info here soon regarding diverse thoughts / opinions as it relates to life/living/time in TorC - NOT other posters!!

Definitely not the meth capitol of NM. For the last several years, people have been claiming this title about every town, as if it's some sort of badge of honor.
TrC does have a dark history of torture, murder, and missing bodies, but that's another story...
I agree with dracul, there are MANY places that have a MUCH worse meth problem. With that being said, it does NOT mean TrC is drug-free. It's rampant here, just like everywhere else.

Like in nearly every other aspect of life it's what you make of it that matters at the end of the day. Hell, I even enjoy Denver during the summer months! This region is poised to changed. It may transform over the next few years if my realtor friends have the right read. We shall see. Enjoy this place if it suits you...if it does not then there is a very large world out there to sample. Live large.
