Default Veterinarians in Clovis/Portales?

I was hoping to find a vet that is reasonable and not out for just $$$ around here. Where we came from you could drive 30 miles away from the city and pay less than half for the same vet services in town. Any advice about this.

Thanks

Go to petsMD.com and use their Find-A-Vet feature. There are several in Clovis - and I've used a couple. One was a little high (Prairie Lake) and the other one was over crowded and somewhat disorganized. My assistant used on on 7th that she said was very good and reasonable - and there are others listed there too.

Ask around at the feed stores on the Lovington Highway (south at Wells Fargo) in Portales and you will get some of the best in the southwest. Caprock Animal Clinic and Vet is right there near Papa Murphy's Pizza. These are serious horse and animal people. Try Creighton's Feed and Barrel on Avenue D for your best feed and tack options, and across the street is Goobers for a Guiness and a country girl.

Hey sweets!

We go to a vet in Portales. She is awesome. I have noticed that some of her prices CAN be beat by Allpets.

However I will never board my dogs @ Allpets. I havent heard anything good about them. I will bring them to get a few shots @ Allpets just cause they are cheaper. But never board them there.

BUT!

I trust Caprock Vet. in Portales with the care of my lil devils
