Moving to Los Alamos New Mexico
I am a 50+ year old single woman who is interested in moving to NM. Have travelled extensively throughout New Mexico for over 15 years trying to figure out where I would like to settle when the time comes (it will be within the next 3-5 years). My first choice would be Santa Fe but am also considering Los Alamos. Does anyone have some really good insider specifics about Los Alamos such as crime rates (can a single woman jog at night?), best neighborhoods for single women, prices of apartments, average prices of small sized homes (not condos if possible), job possibilities for someone with a medical background, and some possible group activities for single women. I do attend a Catholic church--is there more than 1 Catholic church in Los Alamos and what is it like?
