Default Bilingual Education in Socorro

My wife will be graduating with a teaching degree in bilingual elementary education this spring. I am thinking about moving and going back to school. I was wondering if anyone knows much about the elementary schools in Socorro. It seems like it might be a nice place to live and go to school (New Mexico Tech). Do the elementary schools offer bilingual education, and are there many openings for new teachers? I live in Roswell by the way and am dying to get out any way possible.
