Ditto Catman's sentiments. These Barbies could also work well for Washington State, I'd just need to change the cities and a few minor things, bingo Washington Barbies!!

Hee hee hee! Thanks for the great laugh this evening! I should write what a Las Vegas NM barbie would be! I don't think I could do as good a job as you, though.

oh, I got the e-mail from a friend, so I can't take claim to coming up with it myself. I just had a good laugh when I read it, so I thought I would share. Especially to those of us who grew up here and knew people like this!

Las Vegas barbie...now that would be kind of an interesting one too. Hey, you could really go on and on with some interesting Barbies: Gallup Barbie, Raton Barbie, Los Alamos Barbie, Taos Barbie, Clovis Barbie, hey, even through T or C Barbie in there! Would be interesting!

Funny, this Barbie thing was circulated to me months ago, but only a Chicago version. LOL I was reading this one, and its word for word, only the town names were switched to make it fit NM. Even weirder, is when I was reading this, I noticed some AZ town names in there (Ahwatukee, etc). Whoever posted this should have paid more attention to some of the town names. LOL

Oh yeah, under the Santa Fe Barbie, it mentions Flagstaff. LOL Sheesh. Note to thread starter: you might want to proof-read the thread before you post it. LOL

I didn't understand the Ahwatukee reference, and I'm from the heights, and have spent time in that area of PHX. Got a good laugh out of this though.

Default Steve-O

As you can see from the original post, I posted it. Whew, glad that mystery got solved!
I did see the names and did not recognize them, but I left them in thinking maybe someone from these areas might know of an inside joke that I am not aware of. I guess the joke was on me?
Would you like me to go back and edit the post?
