Jobs in Portales/Clovis (Cannon AFB: rentals, lawyers, school) - City-Data Forum

Just wondering what kind of entry level jobs there are in Portales/Clovis. Are there any call centers in the area or is it basically just whatever customer service type job you can find? My family and I are planning to relocate within the next month and are trying to find out what jobs are available. Thanks!

There is virtually nothing unless you are connected. You might go out to Cannon AFB in person and check.

ENMR usually has a call center job open.

SEI runs a call center in Clovis. Here is the link to their "careers" page.

There always seem to be entry level positions open around town. I've heard that employers complain about finding people with a good work ethic. If you match that description, you should have no problem finding work there.

It appears we will be moving to Clovis. Went and had a look around last weekend. Portales is nice, but really small, and the 15 minute drive to the school will not be bad. Any advice on rentals that allow pets in Clovis? Still looking for places to work as well. Thanks.

Five positions are open right now at ENMU, two being faculty. A few spouses with qualifications are picking up staff jobs. Check out www.enmu.edu. Lawyers offices and health care facilites in Portales are also hiring, including Roosevelt General Hospital and La Casa de Buena Salud.
