When or if there are Rattlesnake Roundups in or near Belen

If there are, boycott them. Moderator cut: Name calling, slur, attacks objectionable word etc

“Rattlesnake roundups” are contests calling for hunters to bring in as many snakes as they can catch in a year, at which point the snakes are slaughtered and sold for skin and meat. As far as I am aware, seven states still host these killing contests: Alabama, Georgia, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
The Terms of Service State: Threads dealing with controversial topics that often degenerate into flame wars, such as politics or religion, may be moved, closed, or deleted by moderators at their discretion without any warning to the participants.

Anthony they ended the last one in Alamogordo. You can go to Sweetwater TX to sale your renewable resource.

The reason Is I want to aquire a couple of diamondbacks.
I want live ones though... I would take Dead frozen specimens to study. But I actually want live ones as pets.
I thought it was a snake catching contest.
Not a snake massacre. It wouldnt be the first diamondback i have had for a season. They are just so beautiful
