Question Colfax County Info

Hi
We are looking to relocate to this area and I was wondering if anyone is from there.
I know it is very rural and that is what we want. We raise cattle so we are looking for ranches in the Wagon Mound, Springer and Maxwell areas. From what we have seen we really like Springer. We will be making a trip out there to look at some ranches in August but I can't seem to find anything on the schools. All of the links I have found don't work. We have 2 Grandsons who will need to go to school.
We are moving from a VERY small desert town in CA. We have been here for forty years so this is kinda scarey but we are soooo ready to get out of CA.
Hubby has a line on employment and I am self employed so work isn't really a problem right now. We will have to work though. Cows don't pay ALL the bills!!
How is the water in that area? We have alot of it here it just costs alot to use it!! My pump bill runs over $500.00 a month. The house runs about 250.00. What are electric bills there like?
Any help any of you could give me would be a big help.
Thanks so much and have a GREAT day!!
