Absolutely...I had no idea my family was still mailing checks from our own mailbox till the checks were stolen three years ago. That finally got them on board...

I don't use many (I'm still on my original Wells-Fargo checks from Texas 3 years later), but sometimes they are necessary for paying individuals.

Yes, people still pay by check. You might pay on line but you are far from secure! Wait till your account comes up zero.
