Another question.
Is there any particular New Orleans area high school that has a really good orchestra? My son is in the orchestra here, and if we move, it's very important that he get into a good orchestra.

OK, so I can't find any school with an orchestra. Is there a community orchestra any where? He was set to make the state orchestra next year, here in Texas, but it looks like we might move to New Orleans.

What instrument does he play? There used to be a community band in St. Bernard, at least there was before the storm, and I think my son may still be in contact with one of the members.

He plays the viola. He's done some searching himself and found the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, but is unsure of where they are. We still have quite a bit of searching to do!
