There is a new condo building opening up at 212 Loyola, can someone give me an idea about the neighborhood?

In the heart of the CBD(Central Business District... what would be simply called "downtown" in most other cities). If you want an ultra-urban living environment while having the French Quarter within walking distance, it would be a pretty fun place to live.... I hadn't heard about this project before, I'm assuming it's one of the Domain Co. projects?

Wisznia Development, thanks for the response. It looks good on the web site, I am going to be on the 11 and will take a first hand look.

Here's the link to the property website: Saratoga by Wisznia | Home.

Haven't heard anything about the development yet. Looking forward to touring the property myself.

The building is located in an area that is populated by office buildings. You won't have a true neighborhood feeling because of the lack of residential developments. It's new and that should be a plus. Check out the Downtown Development Districts website to see the other developments in the area. A grocery store should be in the area by the end of the year on Baronne and Girod Street in the "South Market District". It's only 5 blocks away.

Let us know what you thought of the development.

Thanks Abraham,
All I have been able to get in response to my inquiries from a number of the complexes in that area have been canned and none have answered specific questions. So I am planning a door to door search and will post what I find.

What specific questions did you have about the area?

Sorry I wasn't clear, the unanswered questions were about the units themselves. Furnished? 6 month lease? etc, are examples.
