Hi, I'm a graduate student working on a project that requires a pre-interstate street map of New Orleans. Does anyone know where I can locate one (digitally)? Thanks.

The New Orleans Public Library used to have a webpage dedicated to the infrustructure of New Orleans. It had all types of documents, including maps and pictures of New Orleans going all the way back to the 1860s. They had photos of all of the major streets, highways, canals and streetcar networks under constrution as well. I stumbled upon it about a year or two ago, but I don't know how to get back to it from their current homepage www.nutrias.org
Someone here may be able to help -> www.aaroads.com/forum
The Urban Studies and Planning dept. at the University of New Orleans should have a good collection too, but I don't know if they have anything digital.

City or state library archives should have one. I'd link you but I'm on my phone.

I found a great map from the 20's on Nutrias.org. I think it may be "recent" enough to work. Thanks so much.
