Well thanks!
Trust me though, i'm so looking forward to what i'm going to be able to afford down south. I just found an apartment on Laurel and Nashville (looks like a decent enough area, within close proximity to magazine and audubon park) for around 850 that would perfectly suit my needs. The same thing would cost around 2500 in D.C. I miss New Orleans so much. You guys have it all. The food, the culture, the people, the music, just everything. Only thing i don't miss is the weather in August :P. I'm looking forward to my return. Thanks for the help.

Laurel and Nashville is a great area. My parents live near there and rent out a structure in the back of their house (basically a studio) for $800 a month... if you found something nice in that area for $850, I would jump on it.

Awesome! Unfortunately, i'm not going to be able to move until late May or June (moving day is going to be a hot sticky mess :/). So it's going to have to wait. I'm just really trying to get a feel for what area i want to go to, decide on something, and get the ball rolling in May.

Trust me though, i'm so looking forward to what i'm going to be able to afford down south. I just found an apartment on Laurel and Nashville (looks like a decent enough area, within close proximity to magazine and audubon park) for around 850 that would perfectly suit my needs. The same thing would cost around 2500 in D.C. I miss New Orleans so much. You guys have it all. The food, the culture, the people, the music, just everything. Only thing i don't miss is the weather in August :P. I'm looking forward to my return. Thanks for the help.
