The metropolitan area of Boston is about 4 times the size of New Orleans.

why are you leaving nyc for nola? you may find work simply because your from new york city but the industry is nothing like new york

Interested in this as well. 15 years in IT, tired of living in the northeast for a million reasons, ranging from political, financial and weather-related. Could potentially keep my current job and work remotely for quite a while, but would prefer to sever ties to the Northeast workstyle (those who live there know). I'm tired of living at 300 Mph and don't want the same life for my kids. Taking a hard look towards Mandeville right now as i have two young children.
