Hahaha. Well the good things is that (according to outsiders) Mardi Gras is year-round in New Orleans. So...PERFECT TIMING...bring beads too

Just like TV. I recall a local up here saying that if i ever killed some body in Snake Holler just tell the judge as my defense" He needed killin". Don't you just love how the whole world knows everything about you. I usually just play it up some more acting even more stupider(intended misspell). We-uns is all ignorant.

Misconceptions don't have to come from out of towners. When I was in HS at Brother Martin, I remember one of my classmates, upon learning that I lived on the Westbank, asking if we all took pirogues & fishing boats to the foot of the CCC where our cars were parked before driving across the bridge. And he was 100% dead serious!

Some that annoy me to no end:
  • Everyone says "cher" all the time
  • There are no laws in NOLA
  • You can freely urinate or defecate anywhere you wish
  • That we eat nutria, squirrels, snakes, etc on a regular basis (come on, those are for SPECIAL occasions!)
  • That bountygate was real
  • That outside of the FQ, NOLA may as well be a third world country
  • That we all wear beads 24/7/365

There are so many more that I could be here all day!
