Shiiishh... The stupidity sometimes... Yeah, that's the answer Domino's!!

Since the new year, I haven't been able to get a cab from the Save a Lot on Almonaster on a week day's morning! They just won't come. No matter how many times you call. I end up asking a random stranger to give me a ride and I give them my cab money. I'm cool with it but so much for safety...

Tired in living in fear, mine or others'. Something gotta change (other than my moving away!)
Of course their decision isn't an end-all-be-all, but would you really have them continue to send unarmed delivery drivers to the same place that late at night? I certainly wouldn't...especially with the killer(s) still free

I do wish there was an easy solution to the issue, as I also agree with Councilman Gray in that no such action was taken in the Mid-City incident...even though the lower 9 is a lot more synonymous with gun violence than Mid-City, especially the newly gentrified version.

Republicans always bring race into this. That's why I am turned off by the Republican party.

But in no way to live a productive and happy life. You will end up in one place. Prison.
Or since this is Louisiana, the death penalty is considered a big possibility.

They have to be caught and convicted first. For some reason that's a problem in New Orleans.

I find that rather ironic considering that Louisiana

1)Has among the highest rates of imprisonment in the USA
2)Has among the highest rates of execution in the USA.

One might think that heavy imprisonment and heavy use of the death penalty might deter would-be criminals. However, it has not deterred such.

And it boils down to this. What can be done to get the murder rate down?

That question has been asked down here for many years. I wish I had the answer.
